General Questions

What is GAHP and what do you do?

GAHP (Global Alliance for Human Potential) is a non-profit educational platform that connects volunteer teachers with students worldwide. We provide free online lessons, university admission guidance, and educational resources to students from underserved communities.

Is GAHP completely free for students?

Yes, all our programs are completely free for students. We believe education should be accessible to everyone regardless of financial situation. Our programs are funded through grants, donations, and the dedication of our volunteer community.

How do you ensure quality in your programs?

We have a rigorous volunteer vetting process, provide comprehensive training materials, and implement regular quality checks. All volunteers receive training, and we have coordinators who monitor program delivery and provide ongoing support.

For Students

Who can apply as a student?

Students aged 7-17 from low-income families, large families, or orphans can apply. We also work with students from various backgrounds who need educational support. Priority is given to those who demonstrate both need and commitment to learning.

What subjects are available for students?

We currently offer English, French, Chinese, German Languages, Mathematics, and University Admissions guidance. We're expanding to include Science, Programming and more languages in future cycles.

How are lessons conducted?

Lessons are conducted online via Zoom, Skype, or Telemost. Volunteers and students agree on a convenient platform and schedule for their sessions. We also provide learning materials and progress tracking tools.

For Volunteers

Who can become a volunteer teacher?

Volunteers can be students, working professionals, or anyone passionate about teaching. No formal teaching certification is required, but subject knowledge and commitment are important. We look for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for education.

How much time do volunteers need to commit?

Volunteers typically commit 4-6 hours per week during the 2-3 month program cycles. This includes lesson preparation, teaching time, and occasional meetings with coordinators and other volunteers.

What support do volunteers receive?

Volunteers receive training materials, curriculum guidance, ongoing support from coordinators, and access to a community of fellow volunteers for collaboration and advice. We also provide certificates of volunteer service.
